I met Hans in Shenyang where we both were teaching at the time.
Sunday evenings we had an English Corner in my apartment for IELTS students. Hans was kind enough to come and give a hand.
Here we are together on 5 April 2004. Next to him on the sofa is Tina,
who later moved to Sydney.
Hans is from Melbourne and still often has contact with her.
In April 2005 Hans came to visit me in Zhongshan

After several teaching stints all over China,
and being a very resourceful guy,
Hans has no problem adapting to the life in China.
