In March 2010, while studying Manadarin at the Keats School in Kunming,
the school organised an outing and we visited the Yunnan minorities park.
The people from Tibet were the first to be visited by us.
A friendly people

We were treated on butter tea,
made there on the spot.
In the meantime the dancing troupe were preparing for their next show.
Yunnan province is known for having large communities of 25 ethnic groups.
Each group with a distinct culture as demonstrated
most vividly by the traditional dress of particularly the women.
But in some ethnic groups, the men can be just as colorful.
My teacher, Ray Shi, (on the right), was our guide or the day.
